*Job Overview:*
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Barista Specialist to join our specialty coffee team (Earth Coffee). The ideal candidate is a Barista Specialist who is passionate about crafting exceptional coffee and tea beverages and is equally skilled in preparing a variety of light fare such as sandwiches.

*Key Responsibilities:*
Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and espresso-based beverages to specialty standards and master various brewing methods.
Brew high-quality teas using proper steeping times and techniques.
Assemble and serve fresh sandwiches and toasts following hygiene and presentation guidelines.
Ensure food and beverage consistency, accuracy, and quality in every order.
Ensure proper calibration of grinders and espresso machines throughout the day.
Create and maintain high standards of latte art and drink presentation.
Provide guidance and training to junior baristas and new hires.
Greeting customers with a friendly attitude and help them choose and place their orders with ease.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace in line with health and safety standards.
Monitor inventory and assist in ordering coffee, milk, and café supplies.
Stay current on specialty coffee trends and brewing innovations.
Must have flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

*Requirements:*
Specialty coffee experience required.
Deep knowledge of coffee origins, processing methods, and roasting levels.
Skilled in espresso calibration and manual brewing techniques.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Capable of lifting 50 pounds or more and performing repetitive tasks involving a full range of motion.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time - 8 hours each workday.
Open availability - nights, weekends and holidays required.
